Athens

We got busy our last few days on the Greek mainland and then we were sailing without the computer: blogging suffered.  It's catch-up time now.

The drive from Monodendri to Athens is about five hours, but we broke it up with a stop at the bridge of Arta.


Athens is a big city (not our thing) but fascinating.  We spent a full day exploring in and around the Acropolis and nearby neighborhoods.




We were not the only visitors at the Acropolis that day.
